Brock Rodgers joins izzy+ as environmental engineer
Brings engineering experience from Rehau Inc., Johnson Controls Interiors and Wedin International
SPRING LAKE, Mich. – June 30, 2010 – Brock Rodgers has joined izzy+, a Spring Lake-based office and educational furniture business, in the position of environmental engineer.
He is the technical lead on environmental issues for izzy+, will lead BIFMA level® certification for izzy+ products, and help establish and improve energy efficiencies and chemical baselines in izzy+ manufacturing operations. Most recently, Rodgers worked at Rehau Inc. Previously, he held engineering roles at Johnson Controls Interiors and Wedin International.
He resides in Grand Haven, Mich., and serves as vice president of management development for the Jaycees. He also is a member of the West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum.
Rodgers earned a bachelor’s degree in product design engineering from Ferris State University, Big Rapids, Mich., and a master:’s degree in management with a sustainability concentration from Aquinas College, Grand Rapids, Mich.
