Zooey Chu, president and principal of Synergy Product Development, has been designing award-winning chairs for office environments for more than 20 years. He began his career in the auto industry, where he designed car interiors for both GM and Volkswagen. Since moving into the office furniture arena in 1984, he has worked with many industry giants, including Steelcase, Haworth and Teknion, and his innovative creations have garnered 37 U.S. patents. His work for Zoom Seating includes the Zoom500, Celebrity and Trophy chairs.
