Designed by Mike Dressendorfer & Chuck Saylor
Chuck Saylor, founder and president of izzy+, has more than 21 patents and three decades of furniture industry experience, including senior management positions in marketing, design and sales with Haworth, Inc. and Knoll. Saylor partnered with designers West and Babick to create the inaugural Clara Furniture Collection for izzydesign. In 1976, Saylor, Dick Haworth and Harold Wilson led the design and development of the first pre-wired steel panel system in the office furniture industry. His work currently is being shown at New York's Museum of Modern Art. Mike Dressendorfer, a native of Southern California, is CEO and principal of the Russ Bassett Corporation, a specialty manufacturer with a focus on storage systems and technical furniture. His design contributions have been driven by real world challenges over the past three decades. A graduate of California State University - Fullerton with a degree in business and marketing, he holds several U.S patents. He is most proud of his collaborative work with izzy+ and Chuck Saylor on the award-winning Edison and Calvin product lines.
