Arc

Harter new Arc Chair, designed by Jonas Damon,has classic lines and generous proportions. It is simply constructed, easily serviced, and easy to recycle. Chosen for durability, quality, and value, the die-cast aluminum seat structure or "chassis," which holds the chair together, unifies the independent and interchangeable elements of the seat, backrest, arms, and base and is available in many configurations including swivel, sled, stool and four-leg. The Arc Chair's seat, backrest, and arms may be specified in a broad spectrum of interchangeable materials and finishes for maximum design creativity, functionality, and ease of maintenance.

Designed by Jonas Damon

A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Jonas Damon was raised in Germany and worked in Paris and London before settling in New York City in 2001. In London, he developed furniture and lighting for Tom Dixon's Eurolounge, before becoming a design manager for the European retail group Habitat UK. At Habitat, he took part in rebuilding the in-house design team that revived the company’s reputation as the leading European retailer for home goods His international client base includes Dune, Habitat, Harter, Hold Everything, Ide', Lenox, Max Factor, Smirnoff, Tupperware, Uslu Airlines, Vitra and Wedgwood. The work of Jonas Damon and his firm, Office for Design, has been published and exhibited internationally.
